It's always nice to get messages from website visitors, especially those that are complimentary. :) These messages are what make the effort and expense of running a site like this worthwhile. Here's a small selection: Trashguy wrote: It's wonderful that you're willing to share all the practical experience you've had, both good and bad. I'm very glad I ran into this place--I feel as if I've got a hundred instructors that I can ask anything of, and I'll get a useful answer. Mike, You need to know this little bit of information. I moved to Vancouver, British Colombia from Honolulu Hawaii this spring and decided to learn skating for all of the obvious reasons. In discovering your excellent website, I and a couple my novice friends learned how to stop (heelbrake video) which we know is the most important part of skating. I am positive that all the content of your site was instrumental in helping us keep motivated and encouraged when we started out. As you know at the beginning skating takes place between falling to the ground! That can be very discouraging. So I thank you for great website content and keep up the good work. Did I mention that I am 51 yrs. old? Thursday, June 27, 2002 Thanks Glenn Monday, April 29, 2002 I live in Tampa, Florida. I enjoyed your review on the Crossmax. Actually, after doing much research your review is what made my decision on purchasing the Crossmax skates. I thank you for your insight, for I am extremely pleased with my decision. Question, I like the wheel setup my skates arrived in. the two front 76mm 83a with a rounded profile, and the two rear 80mm 83a with a elliptical profile. Looking on the net for new wheels, I am having trouble figuring out which wheels are rounded and which are elliptical. Also, what would you recommend for a new set of wheels while keeping in mind of the above said dimensions. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Marco I. Thursday, April 25, 2002 at 10:24:45 First of all, I would like to congratulate you on the wonderful website design. Actually I've only stumbled upon this site about a month ago while looking for a new skate, and the site is so good that I've read most of the stuff on it. Anyway, I managed to get myself a pair of Mission RM skates 2 weeks ago. I thought that I may as well contribute to the site with a review. How do I go about doing that? And also, now that I've got my skates, when can i join in hockey sessions. Are there any more beginner sessions? Thanks! Zhijiang |
