Return Of The London Skate

Weds April 18th 8pm.

In its 8th year the UK's longest running street skate’s 07 season promises to be the best so far. During the winter months the Marshalling team have been training to bring you an even slicker, safer event while the sound crew have been making use of Christmas gifts with even more improvements to the already legendary Bassfreight and ASBOx sound system.

The skate takes place every Wednesday from April 18th till around mid Sept, assembling opposite the bandstand, Serpentine Road for 8pm and returning to same.

As ever the marshals will keep it all moving and the sound crew will keep it all grooving with a party vibe and the best mix of tunes old and new.

For the uninitiated The London Skate is an organised, marshalled street skate. It takes under two hours to complete, attracts between two and five hundred skaters and is accompanied by the Bassfreight and ASBOx sound system. The speed is best described as intermediate with the emphasis on fun with a party vibe.
