The Engadin Ski Marathon, in St. Moritz.Date: 10th March 2001- the Team will spend 5 days in St. Moritz (6th-11th) What is the Engadin Ski Marathon? The event is a 26-mile cross-country ski race, which takes place in the Engadin Valley, St. Moritz, in Switzerland every year as part of a series of cross-country ski races. Participants take part with approximately 13,000 other skiers, crossing frozen lakes (really!), and skiing through some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in Europe. The charityChildren Nationwide is a national charity that raises money to fund medical research into childhood illnesses. We help many sick children and babies including those suffering from cancer, asthma, meningitis, kidney and liver disease. You will almost certainly know of a child who has benefited from the work of Children Nationwide. It really is a fantastic fun and challenging event, I took part last year and I would fully recommend it. I can't wait to go back next year and hopefully improve on my time! I would be happy to provide copy text for anything that you may be able post on your site, as well as images and of course our logo. Please let me know if you would like any further details. Many thanks Best regards Karen Perry Projects Manager - Children Nationwide Fancy a new challenge?
