From the 19 -21 of April Skate-A-Round® is organizing ‘the Ultimate Paris
Experience’. This long weekend is the kick-off, of the skate-season 2002. It is
especially meant for people who (want to) work in the skate scene.

WHO ARE WE?
Skate-A-Round® is Netherlands’ biggest tour operator for skate trips.
Next to skate trips to Paris, Barcelona, New York, Switzerland and Berlin,
Skate-A-Round organizes the most beautiful skate routes in Holland; around the
Ijsselmeer, the Elfstedentocht. The routes lead you along the water and through
a beautiful landscape that couldn’t be more Dutch.
Skate-A-Round wants to make a contribution to the further development of inline
skating. The idea to organize the UPE also comes from that thought.
WHERE CAN YOU STAY?
We have nice single-, double-, triple-, and quad-rooms reserved in a two-star
hotel (toilet/ douche or bath and TV on room) breakfast included. Our hotel is
located a stone throw from the Bastille and the Seine.
HOW DO YOU GET THERE?
Possibility 1: For you, we have booked a non-smoking, luxury coach. (You can
also come with your own transport) This coach stops at a maximum of three
pick-up points on the way to Paris. These pick-up points depend on where the
skaters participating in the trip live. So, 2-3 weeks before the date of
departure, we can tell you where the pick-up points will be. (In the coach, you
can watch different skating videos and other nice movies.) The tour is great
because it gives you the chance to talk about your hobbies with other skaters.
Possibility 2: private transport
You can go by the Thalys or Eurostar. When you arrive in Paris, you can go to
our hotel by metro. If you want to go by car, no problem – we give you a route
planner. Remember, if you go by private transport, you miss the comprehensive
explanation during the coach trip.
