Gatorback

Otherwise known as really rough ground, this term comes from the USA.  It's a pretty cool word, huh?  The Athens to Atlanta 87 mile road race has a notorious 10 mile section of gatorback.

Here's an article on how to make it easier to skate over rough surfaces - here in London there are quite a few nastily rough roads that we have to deal with.  I believe New Orleans is a pretty tough place to skate for the same reason.
