What the site contains:

This site is intended to share knowledge freely for the benefit of skaters around the world.  A large part of the site is composed of items of interest to skaters regardless of their location, such as:

• Detailed skate and skating product reviews.
• Skate videos and skating video clips.
• Virtual lessons, showing how to perform various skating tips, tricks, and skills by breaking them down.
• Articles on bearings and bearing maintenance, skate performance, etc.
• One of the biggest and busiest discussion forums.

A portion of the rest of the site is London-specific, and is devoted to the London skating community online, including such things as:

• Skate shop listings
• Inline skating lessons in London (rollerblading lessons :)
• Photos of skaters and skating events in London
• Some beginner sessions such as hockey and slalom
• FAQ (frequently asked questions) about skating in London, including street skating, ice skating, where to play hockey, etc.

LondonSkaters.com is not a skating club, although there is an associated online community of friendly skaters on our LondonSkaters forums.

What's the difference between LondonSkaters.com and LondonSkate.com?

LondonSkate.com is the official website of the LondonSkate, a mass group skate that runs every Wednesday throughout the summer.  See our FAQ page about the LondonSkate here.  The site is about free fun for all, and is non commercial.

LondonSkaters.com, this site, has a very similar name purely by chance.   Simon Hill-Norton and I independently registered these domains, not knowing about the other's activities.  This site is about skating information in general, and is aimed at promoting skating and the dissemination of skating related information.
