LondonSkaters Speed Team

At the start of 2004 what was then Team e2xn London voted to join forces with LondonSkaters.com in order to better promote the sport of fitness and speedskating.  The team caters both for serious racers and recreational skaters who want to skate faster and more efficiently.  Come and join us - everyone is welcome and you'll get to do a lot of fun skating, plus get fitter, learn to skate better, and have a good social too.

Some of the benefits of joining the team include:

• Group fitness training sessions.
• Regular dedicated skating technique sessions including video assessment with a IISA instructor, which alone is worth more than the cost of membership fees.
• A more structured and holistic approach to training and speed on skates.
• A private members forum and regular email announcements.
• Limited insurance for related events in the UK.
• The chance to take part in many events in the UK and on the continent with the team.
• Full speed membership includes a skinsuit, but skinsuits aren't necessary unless you intend racing in FISS races.
